What is Noroxin?

Noroxin (norfloxacin) is an antibacterial remedy that refers to the category of quinolones.

In what kind of disease treatment, Noroxin is helpful?

  • Acute and chronic (complicated or uncomplicated) infections of the upper and lower urinary tract infections (cystitis, pyelitis, pyelonephritis)
  • Illnesses of the same organs but related to the surgery and urological procedures or urolithiasis
  • Prophylaxis of infections provoked by gram-negative bacteria in sick with weakened immunity and severe neutropenia

What should I tell my health care provider before I take Noroxin?

  • Increased individual susceptibility to norfloxacin or other quinolone derivative, any auxiliary components of Noroxin
  • Tendonitis or tendon ruptures associated with quinolone derivative treatment in the anamnesis
  • Noroxin must be avoided by future mothers and nursing mothers. Also kids and teens up to 18

How should I take Noroxin?

It is better to take Noroxin while standing, in extreme cases when sitting but not when lying down. After reception do not lie down for 2-3 more minutes, or the tablet will just "stick" to the inner surface of the esophagus and in 10 minutes would be completely destroyed without reaching the stomach and intestines. The sick is supposed to wash down the tablets with warm water (1 full glass). Diet is very important. It is necessary to consume this medicine 1 hour prior to or 2 hours after you ate. Therapy success largely depends on maintenance of a permanent concentration of remedy in the blood. By this means you must receive the tablets through the equal intervals. Use Noroxin twice daily (or every 12 hours). Try to get the medicine in your favorite United Kingdom drugstore or buy generic Noroxin online.
